Learn How Functional Medicine and Regenerative Treatments Can Dramatically Improve Your Quality Of Life

Functional Medicine Clinic in North Palm Beach, FL

Have you ever been to your doctor and, after your appointment, wondered why they focus on treating the symptoms you're experiencing instead of the illness causing those symptoms? Rather than taking a patient-centered approach to address questions like, "Why are you ill?" they write prescriptions that mitigate symptoms but don't do much to solve the underlying problems making you sick.

When you have a dry cough, doctors hand out meds that suppress coughs. When you have high cholesterol, you're given a pill that works to lower your cholesterol, but ultimately masks the issue, causing your cholesterol to be high. In reality, this approach often makes things worse for the patient. Medications never treat the root cause. The medical problems you're dealing with aren't due to deficiencies in your medication.

That makes you wonder: Wouldn't it be better to deal with the underlying problems making you feel bad? At Advanced Physical Medicine and Rehab, we take a functional approach to treatment rather than trying to minimize our patients' symptoms. We ask questions like:

  • Why do you always feel tired and sluggish after turning 40?
  • Why have you gained weight to the point that you're obese?
  • Why is your body having a hard time healing a chronic injury that happened months or years ago?

By focusing on the root cause with natural treatments like regenerative medicine in North Palm Beach, FL, we give patients long-term relief and a renewed sense of youth that changes their lives.

Functional Medicine in North Palm Beach, FL Explained

At this point, you might be wondering, "What makes functional medicine different than other forms of medicine?" The answer is easy to understand: Functional medicine is grounded in the idea that each individual has a unique body chemistry and distinct life circumstances. People inhabit different environments, follow varied diets, and face a range of stressors. These unique factors collectively form a puzzle that functional medicine practitioners at APMR explore to not only diagnose and treat illness but also to prevent it from occurring in the first place.

We do so by systematically identifying and addressing root dysfunctions and processes causing imbalance and disease in your body. Here's how:

Our clinicians and doctors work together to understand the environmental, genetic, and lifestyle factors that are causing the painful or stressful symptoms you're experiencing. We then create highly personalized interventions that help fully restore your health and well-being, without the need for addictive medicines or invasive surgeries.

Use Cases of Functional Medicine in North Palm Beach, FL

Curious how functional medicine might work in a real-world scenario? Here are some examples:

  • Instead of prescribing Oxycodone for an old injury that still hurts, we may suggest Regenerative Protein Array (RPA) therapy that uses your body's own healing powers to provide relief.
  • Instead of recommending painful invasive surgeries for a lingering soft tissue injury, we may prescribe Shockwave Therapy to accelerate the healing process naturally.
  • Instead of using outdated techniques to address cartilage degradation, our functional medicine doctors may recommend A2M therapy to neutralize the enzymes breaking down the cartilage in your joints.

How Functional Medicine is Changing the State of Healthcare in Florida

Did you know that almost 60% of adult U.S. citizens suffer from some type of chronic condition? As the costs and scope of chronic disease rise, functional medicine gives you a new way to get care and even save money over time. That's because functional medicine is able to uniquely reverse chronic disease trends and give you new opportunities to heal and stay healthy for years.

Low-Cost TRT

While it's common for men over a certain age to endure energy loss, a lack of sexual drive, or even erectile dysfunction, that doesn't mean you have to settle for the "new normal." But what causes these symptoms in the first place? For most men, it involves declining levels of testosterone. By age 30, testosterone production starts to decline by 1-2% each year. By 40, many men lose nearly half of their growth hormones, leading to conditions like Andropause or Low T, which can be treated with Testosterone Replacement Therapy.

A simple blood test can identify if you're a good candidate for hormone replacement therapy. Advanced Physical Medicine & Rehab offers doctor-prescribed Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT), Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), and Weight Loss programs that address hormonal deficiencies to rejuvenate your body and prevent disease. If you're looking for tailored hormone treatment plans at the best physician prices and services available, give our office a call today.

Peptide Therapy

Peptides are small chains of amino acids that serve as messengers in our bodies, helping to regulate healing, inflammation, metabolism, and brain function. As we age, these signals can weaken, leading to issues like fatigue, weight gain, forgetfulness, joint pain, and accelerated aging. Peptide-based treatments aim to enhance the body's natural repair systems, restoring optimal health.

Peptide Therapy from Advanced Physical Medicine & Rehab

Our functional medicine practitioners use powerful compounds like NAD+, Glutathione, regenerative peptides blends, and a needle-free system to deliver therapeutic ingredients into your body for maximum absorption. No downtime. No injections. No sneaky sales tactics - only verifiable results.

  • Shaper Brain Function
  • More Energy

Chronic Pain Relief North Palm Beach, FL

Stem Cell Treatment in North Palm Beach, FL Explained

The goal of functional medicine is to treat the underlying issues causing your pain or discomfort - and regenerative medicine plays a big role in accomplishing that goal. Also called stem cell treatment, regenerative medicine maximizes your body's healing mechanisms to help you heal faster and restore bodily function without the crippling side effects associated with surgery, pain medications, and outdated recovery protocols.

Stem cell treatments from APMR:

Provide All-Natural Relief

Regenerative cells in your body are created when you're an embryo and continue to repair and heal you throughout your life.

Don't Cause Collateral Damage

Invasive recovery options can work. But after they're done, the road to recovery can be rocky and create more problems than solutions.

Are Safe and Effective

When it comes to healing, regenerative therapies are safer because they're autologous resources. Because this "medicine" comes from your body, it readily accepts treatments.

Curious how stem cell treatments might work for you in a real-world scenario? Here are some examples

  • Instead of offering you powerful pain medications to treat osteoarthritis or chronic inflammation, we may suggest A2M therapy for greater mobility and less pain.
  • Instead of suggesting surgery for rotator cuff damage, we may recommend Regenerative Protein Array therapy to reactivate dormant repair mechanisms in your body.
  • Rather than recommending outdated treatments for your arthritic hips or degraded discs, we may perform Prolozone Therapy, which corrects the pathology of your disorder.

A2M Therapy

A2M is a natural protease inhibitor that targets enzymes causing cartilage breakdown in degenerative joints. When injected into the joint, it can halt osteoarthritis progression and promote a healthier joint environment. For patients who haven't found relief with PRP or traditional injections, A2M provides a targeted, science-backed alternative for long-term joint preservation and mobility, all without surgery.

A2M Therapy is highly effective for treating conditions like:

  • Cartilage Degradation
  • Tendon Degradation
  • Ligament Stress
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Chronic Inflammation

A2M therapy can effectively accelerate the healing of injuries and assist your body in rebuilding the health of damaged joints. However, it takes time for your body to generate new, healthy cells to replace the damaged ones. Contact our office to learn more about this therapy and how long it may take for you to get relief.

Regenerative Biologics

If you've tried treatments like physical therapy, steroid injections, or PRP with little relief, consider a next-generation solution that targets joint and soft tissue degeneration at the molecular level.

Regenerative Protein Arrays (RPAs) use over 80 unique signaling proteins-such as cytokines and growth factors-to reactivate your body's healing mechanisms, offering double the bioactive content of traditional stem cell treatments in North Palm Beach, FL. Unlike cellbased therapies, RPAs are acellular and immune-neutral, ensuring safety for everyone without risk of rejection. These proteins, sourced from regenerative perinatal tissue, enhance your body's healing capacity without the need for surgery or downtime.

RPA Therapy is highly effective for treating conditions like:

  • Hip and Joint Wear and Tear
  • Meniscus Injuries and Knee Arthritis
  • Rotator Cuff Injuries
  • Spinal Disc Degeneration
  • Ankle, Foot, & Tendon Injuries
  • Cartilage and Ligament Injuries That Won't Heal

Doctors around the country are calling RPA therapy the future of regenerative medicine for a reason. Let's work together to find a better path forward to optimized health.

Prolozone Therapy

Have you ever noticed that one of your injuries heals fully while another doesn't? The reason has everything to do with blood circulation, which provides your body with vitamins, minerals, and oxygen. Prolozone therapy's effectiveness is based on better circulation.

Prolozone therapy works in three ways: First, homeopathic anti-inflammatory meds are injected in your body to reduce swelling and improve circulation. Then the area is treated with vitamins and minerals needed for healing. Then, the area is flooded with oxygen in the form of ozone. This combination helps tissues heal and re-establishes circulation.

Prolozone Therapy is highly effective for treating conditions like:

  • Carpal Tunnel
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Pain from Rotator Cuff Injuries
  • Back and Neck Pain
  • Sports Injuries Like Tennis Elbow
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Arthritic Joints

If you're ready to feel like your best self again, peptide therapy may be the solution you need. Schedule your consultation today and discover the power your body holds.

How Fast Does Prolozone Therapy Work?

The way people respond to treatment can be different, depending on how well they heal and how serious their condition is. Usually, the injection process happens every 2 to 4 weeks until you see the best improvement. For those dealing with chronic pain that's been around for a while, it might take a few more injections. Everyone's situation is unique. As such, your treatment plan will be tailored to fit your individual needs, not someone who matches your age, weight, or has similar pain symptoms.

Functional Medicine North Palm Beach, FL

Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy, also referred to as Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) or Pressure Wave Technology, is a non-surgical method used to address various softtissue injuries and chronic pain conditions. This treatment is FDA-approved and is increasingly utilized for its potential to enhance the body's natural healing processes without the use of medications, injections, or invasive procedures.

What Makes Shockwave Therapy So Effective?

Shockwave Therapy uses pulse wave energy to penetrate the skin without damaging tissue, enhancing the body's healing through hyperstimulation. This process applies mechanical pressure to increase cell permeability and circulation, stimulating fibroblasts for connective tissue healing and osteoblasts for bone growth. It takes about 10 minutes and usually requires three weekly treatments, with patients often able to return to work and exercise immediately

By improving blood flow to the targeted treatment area, the increased circulation increases healing ability. This cutting-edge procedure also leads to physical changes in nerve cells, which can inhibit pain sensation, reduce pain-causing stimuli, and inhibit pain transmission.

Some of the painful conditions that shockwave therapy addresses include:

  • Arthritis
  • Stress Fractures
  • Heel Pain
  • Elbow Pain
  • Hamstring Pain
  • Hip Pain
  • Scar Tissue
  • Sports Injuries

NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The Village of North Palm Beach on Friday announced the death of Village Councilmember Kristin Garrison, a longtime public servant whose career spanned more than three decades of service to local government and public education.

According to Kate Pokorny, communications specialist for the village, Garrison had served on the village council since 2024, where she was known for her compassion, thoughtfulness, and strong commitment to residents. Village officials said her passing is being felt deeply throughout the community.

Garrison devoted more than 35 years to public service. Before joining the North Palm Beach Village Council, she served as city manager for the Town of Gulf Stream. She later spent more than 20 years with the Palm Beach County School District, where she worked as director of planning and intergovernmental relations.

, FL (Boca Post) (Copyright © 2026) — The Village of North Palm Beach announced on Friday that Village Councilmember Kristin Garrison passed away while the community mourned her death as a respected neighbor and trusted leader who dedicated her public service to more than thirty years.

“It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Village Councilmember Kristin Garrison,” the village said in a statement. The announcement described Garrison’s work on the council as sincere and thoughtful, rooted in what the village called a genuine love for the community.

Garrison joined the Village Council in 2024, according to the village. Officials stated that she handled her duties by showing empathy while dedicating herself to helping others which resulted in a permanent change for the village.

The village acknowledged her complete government service through her many years of public administration experience. The official statement showed that Garrison dedicated more than 35 years to public service before he started her role as Gulf Stream Town City Manager. She later spent more than 20 years with a school district, serving as Director of Planning and Intergovernmental Relations.

The village recognized her as a devoted professional who maintained professional standards while dedicating her life to serving their local communities.

The news of her passing brought numerous expressions of sympathy and remembrances from individuals who claimed to have collaborated with her during their time at work.

“I have been fortunate to know Kris since our days on Planning Commission,” one commenter wrote. “She displayed ethical conduct because she dedicated herself to helping others and she proved both mental competence and total commitment to her professional duties. Always the consummate professional along with being a genuinely nice person.”

Orlando Puyol who worked with her on the village council described her dedication to residents as absolute. He sent his prayers to her husband Ed and their entire family.

Others emphasized her personal warmth along with her work ethic.

“I have been fortunate to know Kris since our days on Planning Commission,” one commenter wrote. “She was ethical, kind, smart, and hard working. Always the consummate professional along with being a genuinely nice person.”

Orlando Puyol, who said he served with her on the village council, wrote that her commitment to residents “was unconditional,” adding that his prayers were with her husband, Ed, and family.

Marty Sanders called her “a great colleague and collaborator” and said she was a sounding board on issues, adding that she “gave a great deal to the community.”

“So incredibly saddened by this,” Kim DeLaney wrote. “Kris was one of the most talented professionals and genuinely good humans who graced my life.”

Melissa McKinlay shared the same opinion when she stated “Oh no! I am so sorry. She always brightened every room she entered.”

Multiple users expressed their shock at the news while several others mentioned her age and at least one person inquired about the death circumstances. The village’s statement did not include additional information beyond the announcement and did not describe circumstances surrounding her death.

The community demonstrated their backing for Garrison’s family members together with everyone who loved her

as they honored her commitment to her work as a neighbor.

The village sent its deepest sympathy to Kristin’s family members and everyone who loved her during this time of remembrance. “She will always be remembered as a valued neighbor, a trusted leader, and a cherished member of the Village family.”

For North Palm Beach residents, her death leaves an immediate void on the dais and in day-to-day village life, the kind that shows up in small interactions as much as in formal votes. The tributes which appeared following the announcement focused on her personal qualities instead of her political career because they highlighted her dependable nature and her ability to prepare for situations and her practice of treating others with respect.

The local government reputation in this community remains enduring because the government operates at a personal level which maintains direct contact with the community members.

William Wrigley Jr., an heir to the Wrigley chewing gum fortune, sold a waterfront compound in North Palm Beach for $97.5 million.

Wrigley sold the 2.5-acre assemblage at 11465 and 11472 Old Harbour Road to an undisclosed buyer, the Wall Street Journal reported. The off-market deal was the most-expensive ever recorded in Lost Tree Village, a private golf community, and may be the priciest in North Palm Beach.

It marks one of the most-expensive residential deals recorded in South Florida this year, and the second-priciest in Palm Beach County in 2025.

Serhant’s Gary Pohrer represented Wrigley, while Douglas Elliman’s Donna Hutchins represented the buyer. The deal closed on Friday, according to Elliman.

The property includes two mansions, built in 2013 and 2014, and multiple docks. Wrigley paid $11 million for the larger property in 2009 and $6.1 million for the smaller piece in 2010, records show.

Wrigley is worth $3.6 billion, according to Forbes. He took over the family business in 1999 and sold the company to Mars Inc. in 2008 for $23 billion.

The previous record for Lost Tree Village was set in May with the $55 million sale of Canadian baby products mogul Maurice Pinsonnault’s mansion at 12032 East End. A hidden buyer purchased that home as well.

Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison’s $80 million purchase of a 7.4-acre oceanfront property in the gated Seminole Landing community was previously the most-expensive sale in North Palm Beach.

The most-expensive home sale in South Florida this year was in Palm Beach.

Billionaire cosmetics mogul William Lauder sold 2.3 acres at 1063 and 1071 North Ocean Boulevard for more than $160 million earlier this year. The deal was not recorded, but sources said that billionaire Microsoft Excel creator Charles Simonyi purchased the properties, as part of a $350 million assemblage on the island.

NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. — The 31st Annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade will set sail this Saturday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m., lighting up the Intracoastal Waterway from North Palm Beach to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse.

The event is hosted by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County (MIAPBC) and presented by Lessing’s Hospitality Group. More than 80 festively decorated boats will compete for over $10,000 in cash and prizes across categories like Best of Parade, Fan Favorite, Corporate, and the brand-new Rookie of the Year.

Radio hosts Mo & Sally from KOOL 105.5 return as Grand Marshals alongside Santa Claus, leading the fleet with a traveling fireworks display by Zambelli Fireworks.

The parade also supports Toys for Tots and Little Smiles, offering toy drop-off opportunities throughout Palm Beach County and a special “toy fleet” collecting donations by boat along the route. Simply wave a flashlight from your dock when a marked toy collection boat approaches, and uniformed Marines or volunteers will pick up your gift.

Last year’s parade gathered more than 14,000 toys, proving Palm Beach County’s holiday spirit burns brighter than any string of lights.

Track the parade live with the free KnowWake GPS app and find toy drop-off locations at .

Estimated Bridge Opening Times

Due to weather, winds, tides and currents the MIAPBC said it cannot predict the time bridges along the parade route will be opening and closing.
